Creating Value
An Intelligent Distributed Acoustic Sensor can generate a massive amount of data. We provide
filtering algorithms to ensure that this data is reduced so that the user receives
only the information they require. For example, in security, we can detect an event
and then allow the user to listen in at the location of the event. In energy markets
we can detect leaks or quantify flow using the acoustic data. In these examples, the
user is interested only in the information derived from the acoustic data and may not
even require access to the raw signals.
Silixa works with the customer to ensure the correct
algorithms are in place to extract the optimum information from the acoustic data.
